    Aikido Kenkyukai Sydney City is a Sydney Aikido club established by Berin Mackenzie and inspired by the teachings of Takeda Yoshinobu Shihan (8th dan, Aikikai). We belong to a growing network of Aikido dojos throughout Japan, Australia, NZ, Canada & USA, known as AKI or Aikido Kenkyukai International (Aikido Research Group).

    We aim to develop sensitivity in movement while fostering an exploratory and creative approach to Aikido study through dynamic, non-violent martial arts training and exploration. Our Aikido classes in Sydney's city centre are high-energy, inspiring and great fun! New members and visitors are always welcome.
